If you like nature, the voice of water, fountains, pools, spectacular views of towns, then come and visit Tivoli Gardens. We really loved it! And we took lots of great photos ;)
Home to the highly Pinnable Fontana dell’Ovato, the gardens at Villa d’Este have been blooming since the Italian Renaissance. Marble nymphs, luxurious fountains and mosaics will guide you on your way.
Truly one of the most spectacular sights I've seen in Italy. The gardens have a way of revealing themselves slowly, one beautiful viewpoint after the next. Admission is €8.
Fantastic atmosphere and calm. Fantastic gardens. Needs a little more care but with some fantasy you can appreciate its original splendor. Worth the trip.
Villa d’Este’s concentration of fountains, grottoes and water installations represented a model emulated in gardens throughout Europe, specifically those done in the Mannerist and Baroque styles.
