Going to the Sun road, Logans Pass and Hidden lake are a few of the many amazing sites to see in this majestic park. The hike to Hidden Lake is amazingly beautiful and breathtaking...with wildlife:)
Watch Out For: Grizzly bears, black bears, and mountain lions. Store food and cooking equipment in a vehicle or in a food/storage locker, try to avoid hiking alone, & keep bear spray on hand.
Winter snow is the perfect canvas for spotting animal tracks -- and possibly the animals themselves. You may see coyotes, lynx, moose, elk, beavers, snowshoe hares or even the elusive mountain lion.
All the trails I wanted to do were closed due to snow or bay activity but we still had a blast going to hidden lake overlook in the snow... mid-July ???? Views are marvelous.
West glacier has the avalanche Lake and lot of restaurants and seems like a busy place but East glacier has the grinnel glacier and red rock hikes but very less amenities around
